Sinners and Saints by Victoria Christopher Murray and ReShonda Tate Billingsley

Title: Sinners and Saints

Authors: Victoria Christopher Murray and ReShonda Tate Billingsley

Rating: 5

Headline: An Election like You Have Never Seen Before!

Are you on Team Jasmine or Team Rachel?  Victoria Christopher Murray and ReShonda Tate Billingsley have written their first joint novel bringing together two of their most famous characters, Jasmine Larson Bush and Rachel Jackson Adams.  To say that sparks, drama, and gameplay follow when these two “First Ladies” meet would be an understatement.

Both of their husbands are selected to run for the presidency of the American Baptist Coalition and since this would bring much power and prestige, Jasmine and Rachel must go back to their old ways of trickery and deception. Murray and Billingsley alternate writing chapters about each of their characters and the story flows seamlessly. But, while Jasmine and Rachel are focused on bringing each other down they both failed to take notice of what tricks the current First Lady of the ABC might have up her sleeve.

Sinners and Saints is a very fun and quick read. And, while some readers may think this is a book of fiction but for those of us that attend church, we know that women such as Jasmine and Rachel exist. I look forward to the next joint venture between these two great authors.
